What is the Alaska Midnight Sun Rowing Association (AMSRA)?
ASMRA was incorporated in 2005 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunity for instruction in the sport of rowing and fostering the availability of rowing programs to the residents of the Kenai Peninsula.

Where are you located?
The row site is located on West Mackey Lake just outside of Soldotna, AK on Rainbow Dr.

What are your practice hours?
Practice hours vary from season to season. There are usually opportunities for rowing at least five days a week.

How long is your season?
Each season is weather dependent. Typically, AMSRA is on the water from early/mid May through late September/early October.

Who are your coaches?
Nancy Saylor is our local, year-round, head coach.

What programs do you offer?
AMSRA offers Masters and Juniors rowing programs in the summer for all levels of experience for both recreational and competitive rowers. There are also opportunities to learn the art of coxing.

Coach Saylor represents the AMSRA name in her partnerships with CrossFit Kainos and River City Wellness Center in Soldotna in the off season, where she offers various types of erg classes.
